Nach Update keinen Grub-Auswahlbildschirm mehr

Ich habe gestern ein update gemacht.
Seitdem habe ich beim starten das Problem, das der grub Anmeldebildschirm nicht mehr erscheint und dann ca 1-2 sekunden lang beim starten der Bildschirm nur noch Schnee und Match anzeigt. Danach ist der Boot-Bildschirm wieder in Ordnung und fährt hoch.

revdep-rebuild habe ich schon ausgeführt - ohne Erfolg.

ein "emerge grub"

und ein "grub-install /dev/hda"

brachten den gewünschten Erfolg!

und ein "grub-install /dev/hda"


Das ist gar nicht nötig. Es reicht wenn Grub neu emerged wird. Aus irgendeinen Grund ist die Datei /boot/grub/splash.xpm.gz weg und nach dem erneuten emergen ist die Datei dann wieder da.
