falls noch nicht geschehe, teste es bitte mal mit einem neu angelegten Benutzer.Was ich bisher gemacht habe:
- ~/.kde4/share/apps/amarok und ~/.kde4/share/config gelöscht
- unter einem anderen Benutzer ausgeführt

Du nutzt Gnome, verwendest Amarok-1.4*
da stolpere ich über deine Angabe
~/.kde4/*....
AFAIK legt Amarok-1.4* doch kein ~/.kde4/* an, oder...?
ich würde da eher ~/.kde3.5/share/apps/amarok vermuten...
